【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoverssegmentedblockcopolyether-esterelastomerssuitableformoldingandextrusion.1.2Thisclassificationsystemallowsfortheuseofsegmentedblockcopolyether-esterelastomersthatarerecycledprovidedthattherequirementsasstatedinthisclassificationsystemaremet.Theproportionsofrecycledmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandamountofanycontaminant,however,cannotbecoveredpracticallyinthisspecification.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.4Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisclassificationsystemissimilartoISO14910-1/-21997,althoughthetechnicalcontentissignificantlydifferent.
